ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE (ART)
ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.
Kinesio Taping® gives support and stability to your joints and muscles without affecting circulation and range of motion. It is also used for preventive maintenance, edema, and pain. Examples of what Kinesio Tape can be used for are: muscular facilitation or inhibition in pediatric patients, carpal tunnel syndrome, lower back strain/pain (subluxations, herniated disc), knee conditions, shoulder conditions, hamstring, groin injury, rotator cuff injury, whiplash, tennis elbow, plantar fascists, patella tracking, pre- and post- surgical edema and ankle sprains.
Due to our extensive post doctorate training, we have multiple ways of approaching and treating physical aliments. This includes a mastery of the Graston Technique. Graston Technique is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. This technique can be used to detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.
